What “Not Selling Data” Means

We do NOT:

  • Sell your email addresses, names, or contact information to marketing lists
  • Share your browsing behavior with advertising networks
  • Provide your personal data to data brokers
  • Monetize your information through third-party advertisers
  • Share your course progress, Real Estate Feed activity, or platform usage with external companies for profit

What Information We DO Share

While we don’t sell your data, we do share information in specific, transparent situations:

1. When You Request Services

When you fill out forms requesting quotes or services (renovation estimates, professional consultations, property inquiries, etc.), we share your contact information and request details with the relevant professionals you’re requesting to work with. This is necessary to connect you with the services you requested.

Important: Professionals on our platform pay monthly fees for placement and visibility on Builds and Buys, NOT per lead. They’re not buying your data – they’re paying for a featured presence on our platform. When you contact them, that’s your choice.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Supabase: Database and user authentication (secure storage of your account data)
  • Google Maps: Location services for property listings and investment guides
  • AI Integration: ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude for enhanced platform features

These providers process your data solely to help us deliver our services. They don’t use your data for their own purposes or sell it to others.

3. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or legal process to comply with regulatory obligations or protect our legal rights.

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time (subject to legal retention requirements). We’ll process deletion requests within 30 days.

You can opt out of having your information shared with professionals when you request services. However, this means you won’t be able to use quote request features since sharing your info is necessary to connect you with service providers.

Right to Non-Discrimination

You won’t receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights. All platform features remain available regardless of your privacy choices.

Right to Correct

You can update or correct inaccurate personal information through your account settings or by contacting us.

If you want to opt out of having your information shared when you request professional services, or if you have other data sharing concerns, click the button below. We’ll record your preference and respond within 15 days.

Note: If you opt out of information sharing for service requests, you won’t be able to use quote request forms, as sharing your contact details is necessary to connect you with professionals you want to work with.
